   1. Open Settings → Apps (called Plugins or Connectors on some plans) → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
   2. Choose Create, enter the name and the MCP server URL, and select OAuth authentication.
   3. Confirm, sign in, and choose Allow. Enable it in a chat from the tools menu.

   Developer mode availability depends on your ChatGPT plan and workspace settings.
